THE BACKGROUND
Guildhall Taphouse is a Gastro Pub located in Derry. Its city centre location makes it a popular destination for food, drinks, and entertainment.
The Guildhall Taphouse is situated in a 19th century merchant building near Derry Guildhall.
THE CHALLENGE
The Guildhall Taphouse has a large number of cubicle washrooms in both the male and female toilets. During weekends, and while hosting events on weekday evenings, these cubicles have a high level of footfall.
Following a refurbishment of the male washrooms, phs were tasked with finding a solution to ensure urinals were kept hygienic. They also needed to find a scent solution for all washrooms.
THE SOLUTION
Eco fragranced mats were fitted in urinals to help reduce blockages and provide a fresh smell in the male washrooms. Many customers have since commented on the fresh and clean smell from these washrooms.
In all washrooms and corridor areas, Air-o-Matic and AIRSCENT XTRA air fresheners were installed to provide a clean and fresh smell within these public areas.
The AIRSCENT XTRA is an intelligent system that uses twin fragrance canisters to keep interior premises smelling fresh and inviting.
Its fresh range of fragrance choices makes it an ideal air freshening solution for any interior environment.
THE BENEFITS
Since the installation of these products the Guildhall Taphouse has noted a reduction in odour and new fresh and clean smell. These products will now be regularly serviced by phs to ensure they are working as efficiently as possible.
Customers have also commented on improved odour and hygiene within the washrooms.
There has also been a reduction in plumbing costs due to less blockages within the urinals.
WHAT DOES THE CUSTOMER THINK?
I am extremely happy with the Airscent Xtra placed in our restrooms. We often have customers comment on how fresh the restrooms are since we upgraded to Airscent Extra. The pink grapefruit leaves a long lasting fresh scent.
